Job Position/Title: Tennis Shop Attendant
Location: Hershey, PA
Pay range scale: $12 per hour
Job Description:
This position will provide guest service at the Tennis facility at Hershey Country Club.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Opening/closing tennis courts daily*
Court maintenance, including watering the Har-Tru courts*
Providing guests with water, towels, lights, etc., taking court reservations and program sign-ups, assisting at socials, team matches, events and lessons.*
Working in the tennis shop, conducting retail transactions and collection of fees.*
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
This position may provide care, supervision, guidance, or control of children or may have regular, ongoing contact with children that is integral to the responsibilities of the position. As a result, in accordance with Pennsylvania’s Child Protective Services Law, newly hired candidates are required to obtain the following clearances: a report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (Child Abuse), and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent (FBI). Completed clearances are required to be submitted prior to starting employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must demonstrate a positive attitude towards guests and members.
Must have good communications skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport.
1 year of tennis background and playing experience preferred
Job Demands:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time (duration of shift), walk, bend, reach, kneel.
Requires flexibility in work schedule, ability to work varied shifts which may include morning, mid-day, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to operational needs.
This is a part-time, seasonal position, typically working May through October (subject to change based on business levels).
