Cafeteria

Welcome to the Dauphin County Technical School Cafeteria Website, where we continue to strive for a healthy and nutritious Food Court for our students to make good choices for their meals.

Currently, we have Special Meal Stations (main meal menu is available weekly online); pizza bar station, soup and salad bar, a la carte grill, specialty premade boxed salads, sub and wrap bar, cold fruit and veggie bar. Students may choose 1 cup of fruit and 1 cup of vegetables for any lunch of their choosing.

Dauphin County Technical School’s Cafeteria is reviewed every 5 years by Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). For results of our review please go to PDE’s website

Our Mission is to continually develop a responsive, quality-driven Food Services Program consistently providing a variety of foods in a pleasant environment and promoting good eating habits through an efficient, customer-focused approach.

We welcome input from the community on the development, review, implementation, and update of the school wellness policy. Please contact Denise Green at dgreen@dcts.org if you are interested in getting involved.

We have NO CHARGE POLICY for our cafeteria. However, we will not let a student go hungry. Should a student not have enough money for lunch, we will provide him/her a lunch of their choice and charge the lunch to their accounts. This must be a complete lunch, one main item, two fruits, two vegetables and a milk. Students will not be able to charge Ala Carte items if they have a negative balance in the cafeteria.

Dauphin County Technical School has recently attained CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) status, a remarkable achievement that enables us to offer complimentary breakfast and lunch to all our students.

Please contact the Food Service Director, Denise Green, with any questions. For questions regarding free or reduced lunches, please contact Ms. Debra Homoki at (717) 652-3170 ext. 7444 or email at dhomoki@dcts.org.
