We are here to offer adults an opportunity to learn new skills and gain the information needed to improve their lives at home, in jobs, or through personal growth and enrichment.  The decision to learn is often made for personal interest, to increase job status, income, or have a general sense of accomplishment. The American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) is dedicated to the belief that lifelong learning contributes to human fulfillment and positive social change. We envision a more humane world made possible by the diverse practice of our members in helping adults acquire the knowledge, skills and values needed to lead productive and satisfying lives. Dauphin County Technical School Adult & Continuing Education  (DCTS-ACE) offers Adult learners several options when it comes to education.  Evening classes are available to those that work during the day.  Full-time day programs take advantage of our state-of-the-art classrooms during the school year.  These positions, considered Adult Day Programs or Intergenerational Learners, are available for certain classes and depend on class availability.  DCTS-ACE is excited to offer Workforce Development opportunities to individuals looking for a customized experience based on the needs of their current jobs. Don’t forget to check our website for DCTS-ACE Summer Boot Camps!  This is a great time to take advantage of our school campus when the Secondary Education students are on break. Concentrated hours help complete coursework in less time for those adult learners who want to get the experience they need quickly or have daytime hours available. Check our website often for course offerings.
