Career & Technical Learning Support Teacher (starting August 16, 2022) – candidates must have a PA special education teaching certificate and show expertise in learning strategies for students with specific learning disabilities, autism, emotional disturbance and other health impairments, demonstrate excellent speaking and writing skills, and be resourceful in helping career and technical students access the curriculum. Healthcare Teacher (starting August 16, 2022) – candidates must be licensed as a Registered Nurse OR any listed license/certified healthcare professional who has a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree prepared in their field of practice and currently licensed by the PA Department of State in Athletic Trainer, Chiropractic, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Osteopathic Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Podiatry, or Psychology. A candidate must have four (4) years of wage-earning work experience and must be willing to complete necessary coursework to earn a vocational teaching certification; prior teaching experience is not required. Machining Technology Teacher (CIP Code 48.0501) (position starting August 16, 2022) – applicants must have the ability to teach all aspects of manual machining, CNC machining, and Solidworks and MasterCam software. National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certification is a plus but not required. The successful candidate must also be able to relate well with high-school aged students, work independently and prepare lessons that support students learning and skill development. The candidate must have at least four years paid work experience as a machinist and be willing to complete necessary coursework to earn a vocational teaching certification, or currently possess a PA Vocational Teaching Certificate. School Psychologist (starting August 16, 2022) – applicants must have a valid Pennsylvania certificate as a School Psychologist for grades PK-12. The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological, educational, and instructional evaluations, as well as work closely with school counselors and special education team members. The School Psychologist will be a resource to assist staff with students’ mental health, social/emotional learning, and strategies that increase learning and achievement. Administrative Staff

Assistant Principal (starting July 11, 2022) – applicant must have a PA principal certification. The ideal candidate must have: effective communication, teamwork skills, experience with the Pennsylvania Core Academic Standards and Career Technology Education Programs of Study, successful history of participation in a positive school culture, knowledge of special education regulations and practices, and a commitment to a collaborative professional environment. Experience working in a culturally diverse environment and working knowledge of PowerSchool is a plus.  As Assistant Principal, responsibilities will include: staff supervision, student supervision and discipline, and building positive relationships between school and families. Principal (starting August 1, 2022) – applicants must possess a secondary principal certificate and have experience as a building principal. The successful candidate will demonstrate: leadership, interpersonal, management and organizational skills, a commitment to quality career and technical education and academic course work for all students, strong communication, planning and collaboration skills, comprehensive knowledge of current educational trends, research and innovative practices. An ability to maintain positive relationships with sending school district personnel and the ability to create and maintain a culture of professional excellence is required. A strong background in a career and technical school is also required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the administration of: admissions, enrollment, scheduling, child accounting, teacher evaluations, professional development, and school counseling services. Support Staff

Evening Custodian – a successful candidate must have the ability to establish priorities, determine proper procedures, work independently, carry out oral and written instructions, and to push, pull, move, lift, carry and transfer items up to 50 pounds. Other duties include grass cutting and snow removal. Position is 260 days. Hours are 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Salary is $15.00 per hour plus full benefits.
