Job Description:
Flight Systems Industrial Products (FSIP) invites you to join our proud team in Carlisle, PA. FSIP manufacturers and remanufactures electronic parts and products for numerous electric vehicle markets.
Our Electronic Technician position is first shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm and is located at our facility in Carlisle, PA.

Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair motor controllers and electronic systems to component level. • Solder, assemble, and disassemble electronic devices. • Remove and install electronic components through soldering. • Train and guide colleagues • Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment. • Utilizing a wide variety of electronic test equipment for conducting procedures • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic devices to component level. • Provide upgrades to electronic systems.
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proactive and self-motivated. The ability to test, evaluate, and repair complex electrical systems is required. In addition the candidate must posses the following knowledge and skills: • Accurate and efficient with a high level of attention to detail. • Previous soldering experience • Ability to interpret schematics and conduct basic troubleshooting. • Basic understanding of electronics and technical aptitude. • Strong ability to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools and equipment for the job • Effective verbal, written and basic computer skills. • Ability to follow direction and cross-train responsibilities as business needs dictate. • Proficient experience with electronic systems • Superior time management and organizational skills
