Course Overview
Plumbing follows the basic laws of nature — gravity, pressure, water seeking it’s own level. Knowing this, you can now understand it’s “mysteries” and make dozens of fixes to your home’s plumbing system. You’ll save yourself time, trouble and most of all money!
In this course the Adult Learner will focus on the basics of troubleshooting plumbing problems that often arise in a home or business. After taking this course you may find that plumbing is a great career for you to pursue.
This is an introductory course. This course does not make participants “certified plumbers”.

A Certificate of Completion for the course will only be issued to participants completing a minimum of 80% of the course.

- Payment in full is two weeks prior to the first class. Submission of an application alone does not guarantee a spot in the class
- Checks should be made out to DCTS ADULT & CONTINUING EDUCATION and mailed to 6001 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA 17109 or call (717) 652-3170 ext. 7902 to make payment by credit card. No refunds will be issued after the start of class.
Paperwork & Cancellations
- Refunds (minus credit card fees) will be offered up until the start of the class.
- No refunds will be offered after the start of class..
- A $50 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations.
- Cancellation requests must be received via email at AdultEd@dcts.org two weeks before the class start date.
