Due to CDL being a short-term program there is no financial aid (FASFA), however there are a couple of options for assistance. If you have a full-time job and your CDL license would benefit the company some will reimburse for the class. If you are not currently employed you can speak with Career Link and they may be able to provide tuition assistance, the referral form is located here PA CareerLink Referral Form. You can also apply for a PA Forward Student Loan through PHEAA 1-844-723-6793, or contact Sallie Mae (our preferred lender). You can find more information at: https://choice.fastproducts.org/FastChoice/home/536500. Financial assistance may also be available through CDL Advantage. Visit them at https://cdladvantage.com/ . If you are a Veteran and using your GI Bill, please provide us with a copy of your “Certificate of Eligibility”. If you are a veteran or have a family member (parent/child) who served you may qualify for a CMVOST grant, for that we need a copy of the DD214 with a discharge of anything other than Dishonorable and if the DD214 is for anyone else we will also need the documentation to show your relationship to them. PLEASE NOTE: as of now we have exhausted our Veterans Grant and do not know when we will be awarded another amount. If you are planning on self-paying for the course, all payments will be made to York County a $500 deposit is needed to save your spot in the class and to start your online theory. Of the remaining balance, $2200 will be needed before the first day of class, and the final installment of $2200 can be broken into payments however you are most comfortable, keeping in mind the FULL balance needs to be paid before you can test for your license.
