Genuine Acts of Kindness (simply doing the right thing without being told), creates a positive school climate by highlighting the importance of treating one another and property with respect.  Examples of Genuine Acts of Kindness observed included helping a classmate understand a concept, helping a new student find their class by walking them to their class, and turning in a lost item to its rightful owner.

The following students were recognized with a certificate by DCTS administration for their genuine act of kindness: Morgan Dame, Paetyn Eyster, Saiman Magar, Ga’ree Mathes, Edilis Mendoza, Davey Norris, Blejona Qazimit, Aniyah Reeder-Fuller, and Kiersten Sabolsky.
