Student Help Desk & New Device Pickup

Dear Parents and Students:
The IT Department at Dauphin County Technical School is committed to providing the most
up-to-date functional technology to all students and staff. The utilization of technology in the classroom, program of study areas, and at home is critical in this pandemic time of remote learning and social distancing. As we prepare for the 2021-2022 school year, the IT department will hold “Help Desk” hours beginning August 16, 2021.
Students and/or parents may bring DCTech issued devices to the school for repair as follows:

In-person Help Desk:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Report to the front office with the DCTech issued device and ask for the IT Department. Someone will assist you from there.
  • After-hours assistance can be arranged by calling the helpdesk for scheduling.

For Assistance by Phone:

  • 717-652.3170 Option 4.

New Device Pickup

  • Thursday, August 26 – 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (During New Student Orientation)

Please don’t hesitate to contact if you have concerns and questions. I look forward to school reopening and supporting our school technology in August.

Sincerely,

Adam Dawson
