Outdoor Equipment Technology 1- Small Engine Repair Basics

The Outdoor Equipment Technology-Small Engine Repair class offers entry-level repair and tune-up of gasoline, four stroke and two stroke engines. This class also focuses on the theory and repair of fuel systems (carburetors), compression (valves and valve seats), ignition systems and starting systems.
Dates: Feb 8, 10, (no class 2/15), 17, 22 & 24, 2021 (MON & WED)
Time: 5:30PM - 8:30PM
Total: 15 Hours
Cost $250 (We accept Cash, Checks, Visa & MasterCard)
Pay: Credit/Debit or Money Order, or Cash
Registration and fee deadline is one week prior to the first class. Individuals are not considered registered with DCTS until payment is made and a completed application is submitted to the Adult & Continuing Education Office.
Students are encouraged to bring in their equipment with prior approval by the instructor. Parts needed for repair or tune-ups are not included in the course and therefore are the responsibility of the student.
Adult learners must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
