Safety and Prevention

Safety is the top priority of the staff and administration of Dauphin County Technical School.   The links below are safety related resources to assist students, parents/guardians, faculty and staff in creating a positive school climate. Students can report a tip, bullying, harassment, etc. through an electronic system listed below. We
always encourage students to talk directly with their grade level principal and guidance counselor regarding concerns.

SafeSchool Alert

SafeSchools Alert is our district's tip reporting service.  If you have information

Visitor Check-in System

In an effort to manage our visitors and guests, DCTS utilizes School Gate Guardian. The procedures are as follows:
Each visitor will enter the building through the front office and have a state issued driver’s license or other state-issued identification upon arrival at the door. The ID will be scanned and checked against the sexual offender database.  Once the visitor information has been scanned, a Visitor ID Badge will be printed.
