Electrical Fundamentals
The Electrical course covers the basics in both residential and commercial electrical applications. This includes but not limited to Installation of duplex receptacles, GFCI receptacles, single pole switches, 3-way switches, 4-way switches, light fixtures, interconnected smoke detectors, 120/240 volt dryer and range receptacles, use of testing equipment such as a multimeter, and installation of single pole and double pole circuit breakers. Other topics and areas will be taught based on the interest of the students.

Registration and fee deadline is one week prior to the first class. Individuals are not considered registered with DCTS until payment is made and a completed application is submitted to the Adult & Continuing Education Office.
